Every building in Midtown has its own rules and none of them are where you would look. We keep notes on the ones we work in, and we publish them.
Subcontractors pricing work in a building for the first time, architects who want to know what a tenant alteration will really involve, and anyone who has had a certificate of insurance rejected and not been told precisely why.
These notes are our own working knowledge. They do not reproduce the building’s documents and they are not a substitute for them: they tell you which documents exist, who issues them, and what tends to catch people out. The property manager’s current issue always governs.
